CPH, More April 13 pics, and SOTQ for June 2, 2024
run of the mill updates
From the April 13th roll
Still have lots of images to share from that April 13th roll of film, here’s another!
Cropped from the original since these little jets are a bit small to fill the frame at 200mm full frame from atop the “33L hill” at Pearson.

2024 is the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Airforce and there was a display outside of Union Station downtown Toronto of a CF-18 “version B” with the tandem cockpit. The queue wasn’t that long, and it’s fun to get a seat in the mockup of the cockpit of Canada’s only combat aircraft type (pending arrival of the F-35). There’s a promotional video of various jobs in the Airforce that play in the short queueing area.
I didn’t want to take up too much time with kids waiting in the queue. Also some free swag (lanyards, “remove before flight” keychains — can’t have enough of those!)
What’s next?
Doors Open TO was last weekend, I took a few pictures in the Porter Hangar which are with the lab getting developed. There’s a few on that roll of film from the Copenhagen airport as well of planes parked at the terminal — eagerly awaiting how those turn out. I ordered 4x6” prints to see what that’s like, since I have the means of scanning the 35mm negatives at home now.
The Quinte Airshow at CFB Trenton is at the end of the month as well, taking the gamble on Sunday, hoping for clear skies! There were “photo-pit” tickets that sold out quickly, but I’ still going to bring the big kit bag and see what can be done from the general admissions area.

June 2, 2024; Airliners queue length down 600, not sure what’s happening, since we’ve been tracking it was steady 6,000. 3000+ decrease at Jetphotos, kudos!
